Start without waiting for approval (declaration)
Section titled “Start without waiting for approval (declaration)”For a low-risk activity, run /actagate declare details to declare that you are proceeding. Your manager
is notified, and the declaration is confirmed automatically unless they stop it within 24 hours
(silence means consent). Confirmation and veto are both recorded, preventing later disputes.
Declare and check the veto deadline
Section titled “Declare and check the veto deadline”- If your manager is unset, run
/actagate setup @manager. The manager setting is confirmed. - Run
/actagate declare details. You see that you can start and the veto deadline; your manager receives a DM. - If your manager stops the declaration, read the notification. The declaration and veto reason are recorded.
The manager’s DM card contains the declaration, deadline, and “🛑 Stop”. If no veto occurs within 24 hours, expiry processing on a view or event confirms it. A notification is not guaranteed at the exact deadline.
